The CTS-8072PR-500 is the first home-made pulser-reciever with optional single-channel or dual-channel configurations. Its receiver bandwidth can reach up to 500 MHz. Equipped with the remote pulser RP-1, the CTS-8072PR-500 allows the excitation unit to be placed extremely close to the probe, minimizing cable length between the probe and transmitter, thereby reducing interference signals from cables to the greatest extent. Users can choose (or customize) various remote pulsers to accommodate different probe frequency ranges and pulse energy requirements. Additionally, it features a specially designed spike pulse generator optimized for high-frequency probes, with a pulse width of 1.2ns and a tunable voltage range of -105V~-220V, enabling optimal performance for ultra-high-frequency probes.

This device, along with our company’s CTS-8072PR+ dual-channel high-frequency pulse transceiver, fully supporting ultrasonic testing across 5MHz~500MHz (Customizable). It is an ideal alternative to imported products (such as replacing the D*P500 series).

The instrument is widely used for coating thickness measurement in ultrasonic microscopy, as well as flaw detection in thin or non-attenuating materials. It provides an ideal modular solution for ultrasonic imaging inspection, thickness measurement, material property determination, and transducer performance evaluation.
